The Perfect Splash of Glitter
In keeping up with the Valentine's Day theme, I decided to do something with a little bit of pink. We were iced out on Friday, so my package from TransDesign could not make it to me. I did get it Monday though :) This was a nice way to start off my week though. I used OPI Ate Berries in the Canaries with Show it and Glow it as an accent nail. I was going to do the thumb and ring as accent nails...but it was kind of late and I was "too busy" watching Dexter (another one of my new obsessions). I LOVE this pink! It kind of reminds me of Zoya Juicy, except this is not a jelly. It's smooth enough to be a one-coater, which is always a good thing if you're in a rush.
I decided afterwards to accent the thumbs with a rhinestone. These had a little sticky tab on the bottom so the application was easy. I just applied a coat of SV to smooth out the edges and secure the rhinestone. You can see it a little better here.
Ok, so Show it and Glow it is now one of my favorite glitters! I can't believe I didn't pick this up sooner. There are so many colors in this, so it will be easy to wear this with a bunch of different colors. It drags a bit when applying more than one coat, but totally worth it.
This is one of my favorite manis of the month :) I might actually repeat this next Monday... <3
I love that pink!!! That's such a gorgeous color combo too!!
